Woman arrested on 8 counts of forging prescriptions

A woman who worked for a Jasper County medical clinic has been arrested after she allegedly forged eight prescriptions - six for herself and two for another person – at different pharmacies in both Jasper and Beaumont. Reports filed by Jasper County Deputy Jason Hollyfield say that an investigation began in late June into the activities of Heide Erica Webb, 50, of Jasper.

The report said that he spoke to an official with Rayburn Family Medicine on Recreational Road 255 in Rayburn Country, which is where Webb was employed. The report said Webb’s employment was terminated after the clinic official discovered Webb’s alleged activities.

According to the report, Webb forged prescriptions under authority of Dr. James Spencer and Physician Assistant Desiree Holley.

Webb was arrested on Monday, July 31st, 2023 and she has been charged with eight class B misdemeanor counts of Forgery/Increase Prescription Quantity/Dangerous Drugs. Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Smith has set her bond at a combined total of $5,250.00.

Carisoprodol – muscle relaxer – 05/05/23 Walgreens Pharmacy in Jasper for Heide Webb, authority of Physician Assistant Desiree Holley

Clonazepam – seizure medication – 05/13/23 Walgreens Pharmacy in Beaumont for another person, authority of Dr. James Spencer

Alprazolam – anxiety medication – 05/25/23 Walgreens Pharmacy in Jasper for Heide Webb, authority of Dr. James Spencer (report shows same prescription filed twice on this date)
